With the rising threat of COVID 19 in our area, and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our clients, employees, and families, we have made the very difficult decision to reduce our hours as well as change our business operations. This is only temporary, and we hope to be able to go back to normal business operations & hours as soon as possible.
Even in the instance that other businesses or cities are asked to lockdown, a veterinary clinic is considered an “essential” business, and we will plan to stay open in an effort to continue providing the best care for your pets.

The following changes will become effective beginning Monday, March 23rd
‍Temporary Changes to Operating Hours:
‍Monday-Friday: 7:30AM- 12PM//12-1PM CLEANING BREAK // Monday-Friday 1PM-5PM
‍Saturdays: Currently Closed

Please note; We will continue to monitor the need for Saturday appointments & our operating budget to make decisions regarding Saturdays during the COVID-19 situation.

‍Temporary Changes to Business Operations   
‍Surgeries
‍During this time, we will continue to do surgeries. We will continue to monitor best practices & make decisions, as this is a fluid situation. Surgery drop-off’s will follow all new operating protocol until further notice.

• If your pet is currently scheduled for a surgery, you will be receiving a phone call from our ECVC staff to discuss options for dropping off & picking up your pet.
• Please complete the pre-surgical release form online, using the link provided; Pre Surgical Release Form& either email it  to us prior to your pets surgery, or bring it with you on the day of the appointment.
• FOOD: For picking up food, prescription refills, etc. Please call ahead so we can have that ready to bring to your car.
• APPOINTMENTS: Please call to schedule appointments as normal, & we will give you any necessary information regarding changes to our business operations at that time
• If you currently have a scheduled appointment, you will receive a call from our ECVC staff to confirm your appointment and review changes to business operations.
• DROP OFF ONLY: Until further notice, no clients will be permitted to accompany their animals into the clinic. We have created a very specific protocol for technicians coming to the car to pick up animals, & we will take all history, symptoms & conduct appointments via phone during your scheduled appointment times. Dr. Rob or Dr. Newton will speak with EACH appointment over the phone during the scheduled appointment slot in an effort to determine the best course of treatment for your pet. We are committed to doing our best to continue offering great care and the best personalized service for each appointment.
• PAYMENTS: We will only be accepting credit card payments over the phone during this time. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.
• Please continue to help us STAY OPEN & STAY HEALTHY by staying home if you are showing symptoms. A GIANT thank you to our ECVC family for supporting these necessary precautionary changes to our day-to-day operations.

We understand this is a lot of change! What we love most about operating East Cherokee Veterinary Clinic is the opportunity to be face to face with both our clients & their pets. We will work with each of you, and together, we can ensure this is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. We are committed to continuing to provide the best possible care that we can for each of you and your pets during this season of change & uncertainty. In an effort to stay open and to do our part to protect one another, we have had to make these necessary changes to operations. We are thankful that these are temporary changes and soon we hope to see each of you again & get back to normal hours and operations! Until then, we are OPEN & we are continuing to PRAY for each of you and your families. We are grateful for your commitment to East Cherokee Veterinary Clinic during this time and always.
